Getting into teaching

Working in our schools is an exciting opportunity to directly impact on the lives of young people. Our schools and provisions cover the whole age range and include Mainstream Primary, Special Schools and Alternative Provisions. As a Trust, LSEAT has a proven record in developing and training teaching talent so that our children can have the very best experience from caring, dedicated and expert professionals.

There are many different routes that can be taken to achieve Qualified Teacher Status and some of the main pathways are described in the leaflet below. Each potential pathway depends on the experience and qualifications of the individual teacher and guidance can be provided to ensure that the chosen pathway is right for you.
