Warren Road Celebrates Prestigious Win at the London Children’s Flower Society Awards
We are incredibly proud to celebrate Warren Road Primary School, who have been awarded the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Cup for Best School Garden in this year’s Summer Garden Competition. This remarkable achievement reflects the passion, creativity, and dedication shown by pupils and staff throughout the year as they worked together to cultivate an outstanding school garden.
Representatives from Warren Road were invited to attend the Awards Event at the historic London Guildhall, where schools from across the capital were celebrated for their horticultural accomplishments. The event was made even more special by the fact that this year marks the 80th Anniversary of the London Children’s Flower Society, an organisation that has inspired generations of young gardeners to connect with nature and take pride in growing.
Speaking about the award, Sue Jeremy, Sustainability Lead at Warren Road, said:
“We are absolutely delighted to receive this award. Our garden is a reflection of the children’s enthusiasm and commitment and we are thrilled their hard work has been recognised at such a high level.”
This achievement highlights the school’s commitment not only to environmental education but also to fostering a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and joy in caring for the natural world. As a Trust, we extend our warmest congratulations to everyone involved.
