East Sussex Academy will be a new Alternative Provision in the region, supporting children and young people who have been excluded from mainstream education.
The existing provider, College Central, will transfer to London South East Academies Trust later this year. To ensure a smooth transition, we are working closely with East Sussex County Council and the current Trust, SABDEN Multi Academy Trust.
We aim to ensure that every child and young person gets the support and education they need to progress successfully and reach their potential. This will include relocating the school to improved, purposeful buildings within the area, which are better suited to the needs of pupils.
