GCSE Results Day 2026

LSEAT pupils celebrate as all schools improve their results.

GCSE Results Day 2026

Pupils at seven of our schools – Bromley Beacon Academy, Bromley Trust Academy, Horizons Academy, Endeavour Academy, East Sussex Academy, East Sussex Skills Academy and Bramley Grange – are today celebrating their achievements, marking important steps towards their future lives and careers.

The academies, located in Bromley, Bexley, Sussex and Surrey provide alternative and specialist provision for young people who can’t access mainstream school. Some have been excluded from school (or are at risk of exclusion) and have had a very disrupted education. A large number have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), facing many different barriers to learning.

However, despite these challenges, once again the schools’ Year 11 pupils are celebrating success, with 93% progressing into further education, an apprenticeship or employment. The remaining nine pupils are receiving focused support to find their next pathway.

Dedicated staff have supported pupils to achieve a wide range of qualifications, including GCSEs - in Maths, English, Art, Music, Physics and more - BTECs, functional skills, Duke of Edinburgh, and many other vocational awards.

85.5% of pupils are going to college and of those in the London schools (Bromley Beacon Academy, Bromley Trust Academy, Endeavour Academy and Horizons Academy) 78% are going to London South East Colleges, also part of the Elevare Civic Education Group.

Neil Miller, Deputy CEO of London South East Academies Trust, said:
"The achievements of LSEAT’s pupils make us all incredibly proud. In fact, their hard work means that LSEAT schools have all improved their outcomes compared to last year – which a huge positive for the Trust.

"School can be a challenging time for some, but the results that we have seen today are testament to what can be achieved with dedication, resilience and perseverance, from both our young people and our staff.

“It is fantastic to see so many of our pupils progressing to college courses, sixth form, employment or apprenticeships. This success would not have been possible without their determination and the committed support of their families and LSEAT staff.

"I am delighted to extend my congratulations to every one of our pupils. Today, and every day, I am immensely proud of them.”

Pupil quotes:
“BTA was fun, I love the other students and staff and I wouldn't have passed without them. I will be going to London South East College in Bromley for Health and Social care.”
Ella, Bromley Trust Academy

“I'm so proud of myself, It's a strange feeling! I had low expectations, but I worked harder because I didn't believe in myself but now, I do”
Frank, Endeavour Academy
